Luxury retailer elevate the customer experience

A commercial and cultural theatre, a stage for the contemporary. Nordiska Kompaniet’s founder Josef Sachs had a clear vision of what his department store were to offer, and since 1915 it’s been a given destination for fashionable capital residents and tourists.

Background

The building has its elegant history in the walls. Classic architecture with marble and brass, impressive headroom and exclusive details. Although that’s not a contradiction when it comes to the elements of now – NK has always been ahead of its time and therefore, digital signage was an obvious part of their renewing project.

Elevators, escalators, entrances and aisles – over 70 screens were installed, to cover all the main strings and areas. To keep the sober and luxurious NK-feeling intact, we had a close collaboration with NK’s architects and marketing team when designing the casings, using exclusive, handmade material.
